The New Website is Full of Ways to Support Mental Health in School-Aged Children and Youth

FISA is pleased to announce that our new website is now available for use. This online resource has a wide variety of videos of top experts in the field of medicine, psychology, counselling and social-emotional learning explaining the power of simple approaches that educators and parents/guardians can take to increase the well-being of school-aged children and youth. Most of the expert videos have a number of school-based videos demonstrating real life implementation of the topics discussed by the experts.

FISA thanks the BC Ministry of Education for providing funding for this open access resource as part of the Ministry’s mental health initiative to support three pillars of Well-Being: Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Mental Health Literacy, and Trauma-Informed Approaches.
