Again, this year, the B.C. Arts Council and the Province of BC is extending grants to independent schools in British Columbia to assist in bringing the arts and children together. Up to $24,820.00 will be made available to independent schools collectively to match funds intended for the provision of performing arts programs. It is difficult to gauge just how far the $24,820.00 will stretch. FISA BC will, therefore, distribute the funds as fairly as possible. Based on the number of schools applying, grants paid to schools in past years ranged from $70.00 to $1,200.00. All BC independent schools (Group 1, 2, 3 and 4) are encouraged to apply.
