ArtStarts is again extending grants to independent schools (Group 1, 2, 3 and 4) in British Columbia to assist in bringing the arts and children together in the 2023-2024 school year through the Artist in Education (AIE) initiative. Participating schools are eligible for reimbursement of up to 70% of the professional artist fees for BC Artists or up to 40% for Canadian Artists outside of BC. Typically, AIE grants range from $200 – $2,500. Note: if your grant request exceeds $2,500, please investigate to determine if the project would be better funded through the Artist in the Classroom (AIC) grant, which is managed by ArtStarts and not FISA.
