The Province has announced $214 million over three years to create or expand school food programs to support students experiencing food insecurity. This includes $12.2 million for independent schools over three years, with $4.5 million being made available for eligible Group 1, 2, and 3 independent schools in the 2023/24 School Year.
To apply for Feeding Futures funding, please use the Feeding Futures Funding Application Form. The application form includes instructions and detailed information on the application process. FISA BC emailed eligible independent schools their notional allocation amounts on August 25, 2023. If you are unable to locate your school’s notification, please email rocio@fisabc.ca.
